Slovakia's Filip Polc took top honors in the Red Bull Desafio no Morro, an unprecedented mountain bike downhill competition inside a favela (slum) in Rio de Janeiro.
Polc's best time of 1:39.91 down the 760 meters of the favela's alleys and staircases was enough to edge Brazilian Markolf Berchtold by over 1.5s. Britain's Dan Atherton completed the podium with a top mark of 1:42.29."
